Celebrating Father’s Day: A Feast Of Love And Flavor

Father’s Day, celebrated on the third Sunday of June, is a special time to honor fathers and their dedication to their families. It’s an occasion to express gratitude for their love, support, and guidance.

On this day, many families come together to share memories and create new moments together. To make this celebration even more special, here’s a delicious and easy-to-prepare recipe:

Roasted Chicken with Potatoes and Vegetables


• 1 whole chicken (approximately 1.5 kg)

• 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks

• 2 carrots, peeled and sliced

• 1 medium onion, sliced

•  2 cloves of garlic, minced

• 1/2 cup chicken broth

•  1/4 cup olive oil

•  1 tablespoon dried mixed herbs (oregano, thyme, rosemary)

– Salt and pepper to taste


1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

2. In a large bowl, mix the chicken with olive oil, dried herbs, salt, and pepper.

3. Place the chicken in a baking tray.

4. Arrange the potatoes, carrots, and onion around the chicken.

5. Pour the chicken broth into the tray.

6. Cover the tray with aluminum foil.

7. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender.

8. Remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes to brown the chicken.

9. Serve hot and enjoy with family.
