Our Christmas Traditions

Andrea Segales

In our home, we have several traditions, but the main ones include the preparation of delicious homemade food and cookies. Everyone actively participates, and we also organize a Christmas party for my children and their friends. I feel deeply grateful to God every Christmas.

In my family, we have the tradition of opening just one gift on Christmas Eve before going to bed. Upon waking the next morning, we continue with the opening of the rest of the gifts, creating special moments full of excitement and joy.

In our home, we have various Colombian traditions. On December 7th, we gather to celebrate the Day of the Little Candles, where we express our gratitude to God for all the blessings received. On December 24th, coinciding with the birth of baby Jesus, we open gifts at midnight, filling our home with joy and gratitude.
